In anticipation of the most spectacular event in its 21-year history, Winter Party Festival is planning to once again raise the bar and surpass last year’s edition by presenting new experiences at the iconic celebration. Among the many enhancements for the event in 2014 -- the Shelborne will again serve as the host hotel, but only after a $150 million room and common area redesign, renovation and relaunch as the Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach. The refinements and enhancements to the property will give Winter Party Festival guests a completely new experience, organizers say. Winter Party Festival 2014 will take place March 5 – 10 at venues throughout Miami Beach and Miami.

The Southern Most AIDS/HIV Ride Twenty Thirteen (The SMART Ride 10) pedals off at the crack of dawn on Friday, November 15, when a maximum capacity field of 450 cyclists head from Miami toward Key West with the goal of raising $1 million for seven Florida HIV/AIDS non-profit organizations. The SMART Ride 10 is the second largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in the country, the largest in Florida and the only event of its type that gives 100% of the monies raised to the designated charities.
Burlesque is back in South Beach, this time in a modern reinterpretation of famous cabarets such as the Tropicana in Havana and the Moulin Rouge in Paris. Edison Farrow, the renowned nightlife promoter and businessman Ed De Caso have partnered to bring life to “The Cabaret South Beach” a performance venue where singers and musicians entertain audiences with live music shows seven days a week.
